The Hawk Conservancy Trust in Andover, Hampshire, are offering a magical experience for anyone wishing to catch a display of owls at night.
Available on selected dates in September and October, Owls by Moonlight offers visitors the chance to witness these mystical birds as they twist and turn through the night sky, silently skimming as they fly overhead.
A guided tour of the grounds to visit other resident owls is also given, and bringing along a torch to help illuminate the way is recommended. Visitors should wrap up warm, wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the countryside and expect some uneven surfaces on some paths.
A hot supper, chocolate brownie and a hot drink are all included in the ticket price, with any specific dietary requirements to be advised at time of booking.
The Owls by Moonlight events begin at 6.45pm and are very popular, so advance booking is advised.
