Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire is keen to let visitors know all about what lies in store for this year.
The attraction’s drive-through safari is home to exotic animals from around the world including giraffes, tigers, cheetahs, monkeys and lions. You can step aboard the Jungle Cruise to meet gorillas in their lakeside retreat, enjoy the antics of the sea lions and keep an eye out for hippos. Hand-feed lorikeets and walk among penguins in Animal Adventure and enjoy aerial encounters in the Bat Cave with a colony of free-flying fruit bats.
New for 2017 will be ‘Marvellous Monster’s from Easter to October, showcasing giant, animatronic insects, hands-on bug handling sessions, working bee hives, creepy crawly workshops and bug-themed films.
Themed activities including live entertainment, historical exhibitions and much more will also be taking place throughout the main season while Sky Safari will be held from 15th to 17th September, playing host to over 50 hot air balloons, with Fantastic Fireworks from 26th to 28th October and the Festival of Light at Christmas 2017.
