Simon King’s Nature Watch teaches how to spot and track wildlife

Naturalist and TV presenter Simon King, known to many as the presenter of the BBC’s Springwatch, Autumnwatch and Big Cat Diary, has written a beautiful book called Nature Watch: How to Track and Observe Wildlife, which gives advice and information on how to best observe and understand wildlife.

He offers insider knowledge on subjects such as how to find and watch wild otters, recognise when a kingfisher is about to appear around the riverbend and uncover the signs that deers, foxes and badgers live in your neighbourhood.

Included are Simon’s amazing images as well as guidance on what to wear and the sort of equipment to use, alongside key lessons on how to identify footprints and food remains, amongst other signs.

Nature Watch: How to Track and Observe Wildlife is published in hardback by Quadrille, priced £20.
