Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm in Warwickshire has been shortlisted as a finalist in the prestigious Touch FM Pride of Stratford Awards 2017. Britain’s largest and most successful butterfly farm has been shortlisted in the Tourism Initiative of the Year category. It will find out if it has won this highly coveted award at a gala dinner and ceremony on Friday 3rd February at the Crowne Plaza in Stratford.
The awards, which are in their sixth year, celebrate the best achievements in business and the community across the district. In the presence of the ‘who’s who’ of Stratford-upon-Avon, the prestigious swan awards are given out to the best businesses, individuals and organisations in 14 different categories. This is the first time that Stratford Butterfly Farm has entered these awards.
Jane Kendrick, Marketing Manager at Stratford Butterfly Farm, stated: “We are delighted to be nominated as a finalist. Winning this award would be a fantastic acknowledgment and recognition of how hard the team works. The popularity of the farm has continued to increase year on year, which is down to the hard work, imagination, drive and ambition of Director Clive Farrell, General Manager Richard Lamb, the management team and all the staff that work for the farm. We look forward to hearing the results in February”.
