Bristol Zoo are offering visitors the chance to experience wildlife in the evenings on selected dates throughout the summer as they open their doors for Friday Twilights.
The zoo adventure begins at 6.30pm when the last visitors of the day have all gone, continuing throughout the evening until the sun goes down and all becomes dark at 10pm.
Listen out for the howl of gibbons and roar of lions as the light fades and discover more about your favourite animals during the exclusive Friday Twilight animal talks.
Bristol Zoo Gardens is the fifth oldest zoo in the world and opened its doors to the public in July 1836. The zoo prides itself on the conservation and education work it carries out both here and around the world. Visit Bristol Zoo and you will find 400 species including lions, gorillas, lemurs, penguins, red pandas, meerkats, plus many birds and reptiles.
Tickets for Friday Twilights cost just £5 per person with the family friendly event also including entry into Dinomania where you can discover the new prehistoric residents.
Families can also enjoy live music in the award-winning gardens, transform into an animal with fantastic face painting, or become king of the swingers in the Zooropia High Ropes Challenge (age 5+).
