If you’re looking for a fun-filled, fascinating, family day out, Monkey World – Ape Rescue Centre in Dorset is the place to go. Home to the stars of TV’s Monkey Business and Monkey Life, the park provides sanctuary for over 250 rescued and endangered primates of more than 20 different species from around the world.
Daily keeper talks provide a captivating insight into life at the park. Pre-bookable guided tours are also available and you can support Monkey World in continuing their rescue and rehabilitation work by adopting a primate!
While away the hours watching the monkeys and apes interact, then let the kids use up all their energy in the huge ‘Great Ape’ Adventure Play Area whilst enjoying the numerous food and picnic spots. The park also features a well stocked gift shop for a souvenir of your day.
Monkey World runs various family events throughout the year including the Easter Egg Extravaganza where the first 100 children entering the park receive a chocolate treat! There are also various activity days such as feeder bottle making for the primates throughout the summer season. The attraction is open all year, every day except Christmas Day.
