Animal lover Elaine Coltham has written a book of poetry, ‘A Little Help for My Friends’ which she hopes will help animals that have been neglected or abandoned and are in need of care. All proceeds from the sale of the book will go to help the re-homing efforts of the RSPCA Suffolk East & Ipswich Branch.
Ipswich based Elaine says, “After many months of work I am happy my new book is published. Inside the book are poems for children and hopefully grown-ups can enjoy them too! I love animals, they give so much happiness to us, but sadly some are not as well cared for as they deserve to be. The RSPCA is a charity I greatly admire for their tireless work and doing their very best to protect animals.”
Elaine has been writing for many years and published her first book in 2000. She has written eight books of poetry and one children’s novel. All books have been sold in aid of different charities. Keeping it in the family, the colourful cover to ‘A Little Help for My Friends’ is designed by Elaine’s daughter, Georgina Fowler.
