Celebrate marine wildlife at Scotland’s DolphinFest

Aberdeen is one of the best places in Europe to see bottlenose dolphins. To celebrate the local marine wildlife found here RSPB Scotland is hosting its second DolphinFest event from 15th to 19th April 2020.

Visitors to the Granite City can learn all about Scotland’s marine wildlife and how to protect it at a number of marine-themed events including performances, talks, quizzes, wildlife walks, and a dolphin inspired ceilidh.

CBeebies presenter Rory Crawford will be storytelling at Aberdeen Central Library at a special launch event on Wednesday 15th April, with Duthie Park offering a day of family fun and games over the festival weekend.

Dolphin watching will also take place at Torry Battery, overlooking Aberdeen’s harbour, with experts on hand to help visitors learn all about the local marine wildlife.
