Boo at the Zoo returns to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo this half-term holiday with a special family friendly Halloween event celebrating all things spooky.
Running from Saturday 20 to Wednesday 31 October, fearless visitors can step into the Super Natural Neighbours experience to discover more about the weird and wonderful creatures that live on our doorsteps. Kids can have fun finding out which animals make night-time noises, from the eerie cry outside to the strange rustling inside the Creepy Kitchen.
A whole host of interactive and terrifying talks will also be on offer to entertain your little monsters. Devilish demonstrations include a special Owloween Encounter where visitors get the chance to meet the zoo’s resident owls. Learn how elephants created the cyclops or what butterflies have to do with the Day of the Dead during a series of Monster Mythbuster talks, available throughout the day.
Fearsome face painters will be on hand to transform kids into black cats, spiders and other Halloween creatures, with Creepy Crafts and Petrifying Pumpkin carving also on offer.
