Easter wildlife trail for nature detectives in Windsor

Windsor Great Park in Berkshire has teamed up with Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust to take young Nature Detectives on a journey to discover wildlife this Easter.

Starting from the park’s The Savill Building, youngsters can learn more about the treasure trove of plants and animals that make Windsor Great Park their home while following a 2km trail.

Using their detective skills, nature fans will need to look for clues along the way while enjoying the beauty of the Great Park. You could also do a bit of bird spotting too, so bring binoculars if you have them.

The trail is suitable for children of all ages and is pushchair and wheelchair friendly, with dogs on leads welcome.  Hungry Nature Detectives and their families can also look forward to the new spring menu at The Savill Garden Kitchen after completing the trail.

The Windsor Great Park Wildlife Trail is £3.50 per child; with a chocolate treasure prize per trail (a non-chocolate alternative will also be available).
