It’s World Environment Day today and to celebrate we bring you news of the falcons and hawks at Dunrobin Castle in Sutherland in the Scottish Highlands.
The castle, home of the Earls of Sutherland, is the most northerly of Scotland’s great houses and the falconry displays are highly praised by both locals and visitors, taking place twice daily from April until October.
As well as a selection of falcons and hawks, there are several species of owl to be seen in the lower gardens.
