The Tropical Butterfly House, Wildlife & Falconry Centre in North Anston, near Sheffield will be celebrating the festive season with a number of activities for the whole family.
Santa will be making a special visit to the wildlife centre on 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, and 20th to 24th December, with free tractor sleigh rides, animal encounters and an elf eorkshop all on offer during his visit.
Visitors can also enjoy twice daily free-flying bird & animal displays, featuring the centre’s owls, skunks, rats, parrots, and the ever amusing, laughing kookaburra, all themed around Santa’s naughty elves.
The Elf Workshop will offer crafts and games for children of all ages, along with daily fancy dress competitions. Plus any adults arriving at the centre in a Christmas jumper will also be entered into a prize draw to win a meerkat, lemur or exotic animal experience for four people in the New Year.
The Tropical Butterfly House will close slightly later than usual at 5:30pm from the 20th to 23rd December, giving visitors more time to see the beautifully lit new decorations and experience the snow machine!
