The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is fundraising to save the world’s rarest mammal, the northern white rhino. Only four northern white rhinos remain, 1 male and 3 females, of which all are infertile. Three of the rhinos, including Sudan, the last remaining male, live on the Ol Pejeta Conservancy where visitors can visit them and learn about their conservation through Ol Pejeta’s wildlife adventure activities.
After the success of their last GoFundMe campaign, which raised over £75K towards the protection of the rhino rangers, Ol Pejeta has set up a new campaign to save the northern white species by creating the first in vitro northern white baby rhino.
This is completely new territory for science and conservation as fertilisation methods have never before been tested among rhinos.
Visitors will have the opportunity to engage in this cause by meeting the rhinos in person and participating in a range of wildlife adventure activities, excursions, and escapes that Ol Pejeta offers.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is raising money through world’s most popular fundraising website, GoFundMe, which has helped raise over £4.5 million in the U.K. so far this year. To donate, visit www.gofundme.com/
