Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm near Bristol was developed in 1998 from a dairy farm by Anthony Bush, who was a tenant dairy farmer.
Amongst its many animals are white rhinos, giraffe, tigers and African lions, and primates including Siamang gibbons and ring-tailed lemurs. There is a Reptile House, birds such as owls and emus, and farmyard animals.
An Animal Village allows hands on experiences holding chicks, rabbits and guinea pigs, and there are 12 play areas, daily talks, tractor rides and a monster maze.
Noah’s Ark looks to protect and manage important animals in captivity as well as focusing on the local environment.
