The world’s leading conservation charity WWF is encouraging everyone to Wear it Wild on Friday 7th June and help raise vital funds to protect our planet.
One in six species is at risk of extinction because of climate change. WWF believes that if we are going to tackle this crisis we need to be fiercer, braver and louder than we’ve ever been.
Whether it’s at work, in school or as a group, raising funds by wearing wildlife-inspired clothing can really make a difference. Your Wear it Wild day can be as simple as dressing up and making a donation – but if you want to be a bit more ambitious WWF also have lots of brilliant ideas for fundraising activities available in their online guide.
Free resources also include animal inspired face painting suggestions, ready to print bunting, selfie board templates and a dedicated recipe book full of ideas to go wild in the kitchen! WWF would like everyone to share their Wear it Wild pictures too, on social media using #WearItWild or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Plus, new for this year, WWF is working with Tatty Devine jewellery to bring you their first ever collection made from 100% recycled acrylic. Take your pick from crystal studded leopard broaches, swinging orang-utan necklaces and WWF’s iconic panda earrings.
No matter how you Wear it Wild, WWF wants you to get fierce for your world!
