Lambing live on the farm this Easter

RSPB Lake Vyrnwy Reserve in Powys, Wales are offering the chance for families to experience lambing live on the farm over the Easter holidays.

If you’d like to visit a farm where lambs are being born and are newly arrived, grab your wellies, wrap up warm and head for the reserve’s lambing sheds. With over 2,000 pregnant ewes, you’re sure to see a lamb being born and, if you’re lucky, you may even enjoy some hands on experience!

Booking is essential and tickets are £7.50 adults, £3.50 children. Sessions run between 1pm and 3.30pm every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Easter Monday in April. For more information visit

Another great place to witness spring lambing live is Middle Farm near Lewes, Sussex where a flock of 100 sheep are being welcomed from the neighbouring Seven Sisters Sheep Farm. Here you can experience lambs galore and even bottle feed one yourself!
