ZSL London Zoo will mark the 35th anniversary of classic children’s book Dear Zoo with a new adventure for the whole family to enjoy this Easter.
Written by legendary author Rod Campbell 35 years ago, Dear Zoo will be brought to life from Saturday 1 April. Kids will be able to embark on a self-guided adventure trail around the zoo, discovering the real life animals that inspired the nation’s favourite childhood read.
Rod Campbell’s tale of a child who writes to the zoo asking them to send a pet has enchanted children for over three decades – now everyone can be part of the story at ZSL London Zoo.
Children of all ages can follow the popular book’s characters on this fun-packed journey, collecting stamps and taking part in exciting activities at each stop – before settling down for a cosy book reading session at the storytelling hub
The Dear Zoo experience runs Saturday 1st to Monday 17th April and is included in zoo entry price.
