Stay overnight with tigers in Kent

Port Lympne Reserve in Kent are offering guests the experience of a lifetime as they open one of the most unusual places to stay on a short break. Tiger Lodge is the first of its kind in the U.K and offers a unique wildlife getaway.

Situated within the tiger enclosure at Port Lympne, the lodge features a huge picture window allowing guests to spend their stay admiring the magnificent big cats at very close quarters. You may find yourself face to face with a tiger or two, but all from the comfort of your own private retreat.

The stylish two-bedroom lodge sleeps up to four people and offers all the creature comforts you could wish for including a roaring log burner, contemporary furnishings and a 4K TV. The lodge also features an extensive balcony to the rear, offering uninterrupted 30-mile views across the reserve to the English Channel and as far as France.

Exclusive access to the rest of the park is also given during your stay, both before the gates open and in the evening when other visitors have gone, allowing guests to experience the animals and reserve to themselves. A VIP safari and animal encounters including feeds can also be booked at reduced rates for short break guests.

Tigers are endangered as a species, some critically, and there are probably fewer than 4000 wild tigers left on the planet. Port Lympne ensure that all profits from their short break stays go back into their charity conservation work, which means you can enjoy your break knowing you are directly helping the park’s animals.
