Stunning new photography book documents magnificent tiger

Noor: Queen of Ranthambhore is a beautiful book featuring a collection of over 200 incredible images of one special tigress taken over a four-year period in Rajasthan, India.

Internationally acclaimed photographers Andy Rouse and Aditya “Dicky” Singh were united by a passion for tigers and conservation which led them to embark on a journey to document their encounters with Noor.

Engaging story-telling accompanies large, stylish photos on each page as we are  introduced to and follow our Queen as she goes about her daily life. Some incredibly touching images of Noor with her cubs are wonderful, as are other more dramatic shots of the tiger hunting and defending her territory.

The book also celebrates of Ranthambhore National Park in Rajasthan, where tiger numbers dramatically plummeted due to poaching, but are slowly recovering thanks to conservation efforts. Images of the beautiful landscape are dramatic and evocative – from the dark forests to the rocky hills and waterholes – drawing the reader in as the stories unfold.

Andy & Dicky offer readers some valuable photography hints and tips within the book and also dedicate a section to tiger charities, with funds from book sales donated to local tiger conservation and community projects.
