Dive into The Deep for some festive fun!

Visit The Deep in Hull this Christmas and see Santa as he takes some time out from the North Pole to feed the gentoo penguins!

From 20th December to 4th January 2015, Santa will be at the aquarium at 11.30am each day to give the gentoo penguins their morning feed, plus, on every weekend in December and on 22nd and 23rd December there will be the chance to meet him in his very own grotto. All children who meet Santa will receive a small gift at no extra cost.

Children can also get into the festive spirit by making Christmas ornaments, badges and calendars for 2015 as well as having their face painted in yuletide designs. There will be a Christmas trail to find the decorations around The Deep and little ones can colour in their own Christmas tree to be in with the chance of winning a special cuddly toy!

All visitor can enjoy a temporary art exhibit by the Robert Fuller Gallery showcasing images and videos from a recent trip to the Galapagos Islands.

What’s more, daily dive shows and scatter feeds will run throughout the season along with Dylan’s Discovery Corner sessions where visitors can learn about some of the UK’s smaller native species including starfish, velvet swimmer crabs and sea urchins.
