If your kids love the more stomach-churning side of the animal kingdom take them along to ZSL London Zoo this October half-term for Gruesome Nature Live!
This interactive musical event features frightful facts about some about some of the weirdest and most impressive creatures on the planet.
Find out who has the largest, slimiest eyeball and which species of animal can endure fire, ice and radiation and even survive in outer space, among other gross facts.
Featuring a troop of exciting characters, kids will be led on a sing-a-long adventure, as they welcome ZSL scientist Dr Atrox home from her epic journey to find the toughest species on earth. Visitors will discover a lizard that squirts blood out of its eyes to deter predators and hear all about a terrifying tongue-eating parasite!
