*WIN* This Planet Buddies kids’ accessories range!

If your kids are mad about animals and conservation, they will LOVE the new Planet Buddies accessories range!

Based on a variety of colourful characters – each representing endangered, vulnerable, and threatened species of animals from around the world – the Planet Buddies collection features a family of headphones, wireless speakers and tablet cushions.

Planet Buddies goal is to educate children about the issues that threaten animals with extinction – including loss of habitat, global warming, and harmful substances ending up in our oceans – with adorable characters including Noah the Whale, Olive the Owl, Pepper the Penguin, Milo the Turtle, Pippin the Panda and Charlie the Tiger.

Each item has a story about its character, why they are endangered and practical tips on what children can do to help protect life on our planet – such as turning off lights when they leave a room – with all packaging 100% recyclable.

Planet Buddies recently partnered with two UK based charities – Marine Conservation Society and World Land Trust – in a pledge to educate children through the use of technology while also supporting hugely important conservation efforts.

The Discover Animals team were lucky enough to review the Planet Buddies collection recently – with the help of our junior reviewers who gave a huge thumbs up for the Pepper the Penguin range!

The headphones are light yet durable and ‘very comfortable to wear’ – with an adjustable headband which expands to fit snugly. The child-safe volume is limited to 85db to protect hearing with a handy mute/play function available to use while plugged in.

The ‘super cute’ wireless speaker uses Bluetooth to connect to iOS and Android devices and in this case, Pepper the Penguin’s tummy (the speaker) offered plenty of volume for listening to music (considering her compact size!)  You’ll get hours of power when fully charged and there’s also a built-in microphone for hands-free calling.

The tablet cushion (with nifty side pockets) is ultra-lightweight, making it perfect for travel, and also ideal for kids who like to park themselves in random places! A tablet can sit very snuggly on the cushion, with no worry of slipping or topple, with our junior reviewers actually preferring this to their usual foldable stands. So it’s a 10 out of 10 from them!

The Planet Buddies range currently includes a family of headphones (£19.99 each), Bluetooth speakers (£29.99 each) and tablet cushions (£19.99 each) with plans to launch new products soon. Suitable for children age 3+ – the collection is available to purchase from www.planetbuddies.co.uk
