Postcards from Fregate Island: the Seychelles Giant Millipede

In the next of our films from Fregate, Geoff Moore speaks to Conservation Team Member Jessica Hodge about the fascinating Seychelles Giant Millipede, which is key to the whole eco-system on the island.

Another species only found in the Seychelles, the millipede is one of the world’s largest but is currently endangered. Nocturnal in nature, the island closes some of its roads at night to help the population survive and avoid getting squashed!
